If you are running McAfee as your antivirus program, try disabling the Access Protection or disable McAfee altogether. After doing so, install all of your Windows Updates, reboot your machine, and uninstall/re-install Studio One. Make sure that McAfee is disabled through all of this. Here is an article from McAfee that illustrates the problem, should this be what you are experiencing.
If the problem is with Universal Control, re-install UC after disabling McAfee.
If you are not running McAfee on your system, please try re-installing Studio One. Also, make sure that you have installed all of your updates for Windows. Finally, make sure that you have installed the latest driver for your audio interface.
