Even when I am not using any DAW I can always hear whatever audio is being processed through my Audio USB.l Even if I am not working on anything, but the Audio USB is connected to my computer it is as if I am always monitoring the microphone and guitar I have plugged into it, because I can always hear it. I think this is especially annoying becuase even after I open a DAW, ie fruity loops I can still he the input. I can still hear the input even if I mute the record track in fruity loops studio. I am still hearing this on just my desktop too. I need to get rid of this signal so I can record and listen to a wet mix/ without all this dry stuff always present. Does anyone know how to make it go away?

Thank you for contacting Presonus Technical Support. Sorry to hear about the recent issues you have been experiencing.

Turn the Mixer Knob on the AudioBox all the way to the right from Inputs to Playback, if it is turned left this will allow incoming signals to be hardware monitored.

Same issue here on my Audiobox USB 96.  When the mixer is turned all the way to playback, i still have a dry signal (though it is fairly quiet) being sent directly to the main outs (and probably headphones) on this device.
