It is possible to combine up to 4 Quantum in one System. The same is true for Quantum2: up to 4 Quantum2 in one System. But is it possible to combine one or more Quantum2 (4 pre amps, ideal for flexible MOBILE recording sessions) with one or more Quantum (8 pre amps, 19", fix rack use in studio) and so be able to expand my Quantum studio set up with the 4 pres and 16 ADAT I/O of the Quantum2? For me that would be a big PLUS for the Quantum series - starting small with Quantum2, expanding with Quantum and Digimax DP88 and still be able to go mobile or switch between and expand systems and set ups.
