I cannot open a .wav file recorded at 44.1 kHz 16 bit on a Zoom H4N Pro. I think it could be my soundcard which appears to only have 48 kHz as an option (which makes no sense). The files do not show up as options to open. What are my options?

I am using pre-recorded files already loaded on my computer.

I have Studio One 3.5.2

I have an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl0XX Laptop with Core i7 7500 processor

16 GB RAM

Windows 10 Home Version 1703

64 Bit Windows, x64-based processor

I can provide whatever info you need to help me. Thank you.

Conceptual change:
"File > Open" is to open a Studio One ".Song" file, not to import WAV or other audio files into tracks.

Try "Song > Import..." to bring in WAV files.

Even easier: Open your existing song, or create a new one from a template.
Drag the files from the File Explorer into the track you want the audio to live.

Or drag it below an existing track, and S1 will create a new track for you.

Easy, not obvious.
