I recently purchased a Studio 1824C for connection to a PC. In the UC, I can't change the Sample Rate. It is set (in grey) at 44.1 kHz. I can't even change that to 48. I am currently using an ADAT link, and the manual says it can change to 4 channels at 96 kHz, but it only shows 8 channels, and I have no way to change that either. My ADC can be set at 96, but the UC stays stuck at 44.1. How can I change the sample rate?

I'm really starting to get the ***** with PreSonus. I have already answered this question of mine, but that answer doesn't show! It's not the only frustration I am having, but for here, let me state two of them:

1. To get to participate in this forum, I have to login twice! I log into PreSonus website, then come to these Q&As, and then I have to login again to answer or ask questions - that's ridiculous!

2. This stupid text field for answering questions does not allow standard left-click context menu. In this day and age, that is a standard requirement. Get your web coders to fix it - it is expected behaviour, even if only to fix spelling.

3. The answer I previously supplied to this question of mine was that Pro Tools was claiming the sample rate. Once I changed it in Pro Tools (another issue for which I will create a separate question) it changed in the Universal Control (where the hell did they make that name up from - what's wrong with 'Audio Interface Control'?) - or when I closed PT, I could change the sample rate in the UC.
