I am looking to purchase either AudioBox usb 96  or  Audiobox iOne. I  want to record live using simultaneously  two inputs simultaneously. The first is a standard xlr microphone level input, the second is the "recording out" line from a Yamaha powered mixer. The Yamaha manual spec defines this as: Unbalanced,  Nominal impedance 10k ohms, nominal output level -10dbv (316mv),  max before clipping +10dbv (3.16v). Would the AudioBox usb 96 be OK for this or would the Audiobox iOne be better? I would prefer the 96 because it offers the option of two mic level inputs.

The AudioBox 96 offers the 2 Combo inputs with dual Mic Pres as well as the ability to record at up to 96k, All of which the iOne does not have.

It is all about what exactly fits your needs as well as your budget.
