Hey I recently installed Studio One 4 on my Mac laptop running what I believe is the most recent OS High Seirra 10.13.6. I have been using the software on my PC desktop with no issues and love the software. I was going to use the laptop for mobile recording and the PC for mixing but the laptop is having issues with showing the edit tools for the mouse like the range, split, erase, etc. When I open up a song it just doesn't show anything where the tools usually are on my PC. I hope I'm not missing anything obvious I made sure to check that the software was activated in my account and tried to trouble shoot what I could. Thanks for anyone reading through this hope I'm not wasting anyones time with something dumb. It would be awesome to not have to bring my PC around with me so the help would be very appreciated thanks again!

Hello,

Please make a support ticket so that an agent can assist you.  Include that image in your ticket and also include an SPX file as outlined below in your request.

To access your MAC's System Profile:

  • OS X 10.11 (El Capitan): Apple Menu --> About this Mac... --> System Report --> File --> Save

  • OS X 10.10 (Yosemite): Apple Menu --> About this Mac... --> System Report --> File --> Save

  • OS X 10.7 to 10.9 (Lion / Mountain Lion / Mavericks): Apple Menu --> About this Mac... --> More Info... --> System Report --> File --> Save

  • OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or earlier: Apple Menu --> About this Mac… ---> More Info -->
    File --> Save As

  • Save it as "your_name.spx"

  • Attach the .spx file to the reply of this email.

Hi!

I recently worked with a client who encountered this same issue. Same OS but Version 5.1. After some troubleshooting I realized upon start up a dialogue box would pop up saying "Cannot find Scripts folder in Applications/Studio One 5/contents". I checked in Package Contents of Studio One 5 (right click on app, then "Open Package Contents") and the scripts folder was there. However I noticed it was called "scripts" instead of "Scripts". I capitalized the s and restarted Studio One to find everything came back up.
