Question

Hey guys,

Just curious to know, I've got my presonus audiobox iTWO and I've got a double check to hook up 2 pairs of headphones into the one little outlet that's all fine. My audio technica m50x headphones are going into one side and I tried to put my iPhone's earphones in the other one and it can't be heard. the jack I have is a Y cable 1/4 in TRS to Dual 3.5mm TRSF if that means anything..

Is this because they aren't headphones?

To hook up multiple headphones to your interface (or any single headphone output) you will need to use a Headphone Distribution Amplifier, we make 2 models, the HP4 and the HP60. Using a Y-Adapter will not get you the gain you need to hear it properly in both headphones.
