Why can't I rename channels on Universal Control

When I look at the demo version of Ultimate Control there is an option to rename channels to something recognisable i.e Bass Guitar, Main Vocal. However when I connect my Persons StudioLive 16.02 USB there is no option to rename channels I can see

The 16.0.2 USB does not have the option to rename the channels.
