Using the faders of a StudioLive AR16 with protools

Hi,

Am I able to  control the faders in ProTools using the StudioLive AR16 desk? Or is it simply for recording into protools and any changes must be done internally.

There is no DAW control with the AR range of mixers. DAW control for Pro Tools is a feature of the Series III consoles.
