My computer specs are below what the knowledge base recommends.
I am currently using the artist version of Studio One 4.5 but would really like to upgrade to professional while the sale is on. But I would like to know if I need to upgrade my computer first.
I only know a little about my computer specs.
I have an Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @ 3.5Ghz, RAM 8 GB, system type: 64-bit and there's something about HD Graphics 4400 .
Looking at the performance monitor while my track is playing the CPU will say it's at 0% or 1% and then it is 100% and that's when I get the stutter. It never shows a number in between that range. My songs haven't got more complicated lately but they do include much more vocals, if that makes a difference. All my previous songs have been made of many short audio events. I started getting the problem when I use fewer but larger audio events.
Could my problem also be that I need to upgrade my computer? Or does it sound like something else could be up with my computer? I haven't noticed any other pauses or stutters when using my computer outside of Studio One 4.
Any info or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
