Hi. I'm trying to set up an SLIII24 with a NSB 16.8 Stage Box.150' Presonus Cat 5 cable direct to stage box. NSB 1-8 sends to Mixer Inputs 1-8. NSB 9-16 sends to Mixer Inputs 9-16. Aux 1-6 to NSB outs 1-6 via AVB. Mixer L & R outs to NSB outs 7 & 8 via AVB. Pretty straightforward.

Vocal mic plugged in to NSB Ch1. Aux mixes 1-6 all route properly to NSB outs 1-6. NSB outs 1-6 connected to 6 monitors. Can select each Aux Mix and use Master & Ch fader to control that Monitor mix.

I select Main Mix. If I raise the Main Fader, Channel 1 vocal is coming through main speakers with the channel 1 fader off. So channel one is being controlled solely by the Main Fader. Ch 1 fader has no affect at all. If I drop the main fader, Ch 1 vocal is gone.

If I move the mic to Channel 2 or 3, etc., I get no sound at all, Neither the main fader or that channels fader does anything at all. The channels are assigned to main on the touchscreen. I tried all 16 inputs and I get no volume from the Main or Channel fader on any channel except #1.

So I only get output to mains from Ch 1, but only via Main Fader, not Ch. Fader. All other channels are silent. I am getting meter signal on each channel, so I know the cable and mic are good.

What the heck am I doing wrong? All software is up to date as of 11/20/19. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Your first problem is that you are using cat5 the manual suggest to use Cat5e  or Cat6 , there is a difference.
