Why does my Ipad time out when I'm using it for SL remote?

When I'm using my Ipad to control FOH, it will timeout and and I have to log back in. It didn't use to do that. Is there a setting that has changed? I looked through pages of answered questions before I asked this one.

Its an energy saving option on the iPad. The app does not have a time out feature.
