I have bought studio one and use it for some final stages of my mixes but a large part upstream is done with Cubase.

Are you still working on developing an interface software which would allow full control of Cubase ?

I am a potential buyer but will not go until the announcement.

You can use the Logic MCU mode with Cubase, however, there is not specific integration with Cubase as all DAWs implement MCU protocol differently. You should have basic functionality with faders and transport control within Cubase.
