Interesting. I have been a Presonus user since their early days with Studio One and the 44VSL. I have the 1810C and just bought an 1824c. With decades of touring and recording experience (solo acoustic folk and blues), I have nothing but good things to say. I also picked up an AudioBox GO for some remote recording of local emerging artists. I was about to buy the Focusrite 18i20 instead of the Presonus 1824, but opted to keep everything in the same family and the quality of the Presonus interfaces is really very good. I also recently added the Fader Port 8 after years of using the Single Fader Port 1 and then 2 , but even then, mostly keyboard and mouse. The 8 is a game changer, truly. Regarding the final recorded product, so much depends on the ears of the mixing and and mastering engineer. Having recorded projects in a few very high- end studios during the course of my career, the Presonus Interfaces at least for acoustic guitars, bass and vocals, has been truly impressive. They do a nice job.
