Question

I was wondering how many digital inputs the 24r and 32r have. I currently have the rm16ai and use my laptop to run a few software instruments on the open digital channels. I didnt know if the 32r was restricted to the analog inputs. It notes that both have 32 channels, so is the 24r only have open channels for digital inputs? Thanks

Both mixers are 64x64 USB/AVB

When we talk about 64x64 over AVB/USB this is true and possible but its not 64Ch in the normal sense but made of a combination of inputs on the mixer.

1-32 = Channel inputs

33/34 & 35/36 = Aux in L/R 1&2

37/38 = Tape In

39/40 = Main LR

41/56 = Flex Mixes

57-64 = These are unassigned. You can send fixed subgroups or FX sends on these channels if you wish.
