I'm reading some things about the Quantum 2626 sync light flashing blue or red but mine has never been on.

Will my MacBook Pro (mid 2015) with thunderbolt 2 be compatible with the new quantum 2626?
My quantum 2626 is not recognised (red light) unless i restart my mac.
