Question

Ive been recording with the ioS24c on my mac book pro for a couple of weeks now. (Studio one 5)

So far everything has been working really well.

But today i had a warning like this: ”Unplug the acsessory using too much power to re-enable usb devices”

After this, connection was lost and the ioStation can no longer be found or reconnected to. I have restarted my computer and the ioStation and switched usb ports with no results. The ioStation is the only external device connected to my mac.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

This doesn't seem to be a prevalent issue, however uninstalling the drivers by uninstalling Universal Control and THEN re-installing may resolve the issue.

Having the same problem. I updated to the latest version and   Firmware for universal control & Now my computer doesn’t recognize it. I have MacBook Pro running Mojave (don’t want to update) Wondering if maybe the new update isn’t compatible. Need Help @presonus

Same here. I just got my ioSTATION24c, installed the updated universal control which showed the device connected and working properly, but prompted me to upgrade the firmware several times which I did and now it's a brick.

The USB LED blinks RED/BLUE for a while, then consecutively just BLUE a few times and finally turns solid RED.

No connection to the computer.

Also OSX Mojave 10.14. Tried using USB-C as well as the USB-2 cable and other cables to no avail.

I've opened a ticket with PreSonus let's hope they can fix this soon.

Same here.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015).
Iostation is absolutely new. It is impossible to update the filmware, Universal Control doesn't see it at all. The light is blinking red-blue permanently.
I have connected it to my friend's windows laptop, it works  properly there.
Any solutions?
