Question

Did a software update on Universal Control. Prior to the update my Studio 1824c was working perfectly. Now Universal Control says I must do a firmware update on the 1824c. The 1824c shows up on my hardware list but after a couple of minutes Universal Control says it cannot contact it. I've removed and re-plugged cables. Any ideas?

Hi,

I had the same issue (if you're on a Mac) I found I had to go to:

System Prefs ->. Security & Privacy -> Privacy

The add the universal control app to the Accessibility and All files access, restart universal control and the 1824c and try running the firmware update again.
