Hi. I've had a PreSonus 1824 interface for a few months, and am using Live 10 on a Windows 10 64 bit laptop. It's been absolutely fine for months, until I switched it on a few days ago and suddenly I cannot run Live properly at all.
Even with a CPU load of 10% the audio is glitching and stuttering, and causing a kind of bitcrushed distortion. The only way I can stop it is by switching over MME/Direct X on the driver type, but this means I can no longer use the interface's i/o ports.
Everything is up to date as far as I can tell. I've got no idea what to do about it? My laptop is a few years old but up until last week it can handle pretty big sessions, and now just one plugin synth is causing the glitching.
