Currently we can snap only Event Start and Event End based on the current snap settings, but for sound design and aligning risers/downers to hit points, it would be very useful to be able to define a reference point inside an Event that works as a Snap point for that event instead of event start and event end. This feature, which exists in cubase can be seen in action below :
