Quantum 2626 worked fine on my previous M1 Mac. But UC won't detect the device even though I've allowed it in Privacy and Security and updated UC.

I have a Mac Studio M2 I just got and can't get UC to connect to the quantum 2626 at all. I also have a new macbook pro m2 and UC connects to the quantum 2626 but it won't play any sound or show any controls :-(

I got also issues with my brand new 2626.

Using M1 Max with Ventura.

It won’t connect and even if it connects the device disappears after a couple of minutes.

Hey All.

I wanted to let you know that it's most likely an issue with the cable. If you're using an older Mac Thunderbolt cable, it may not be Thunderbolt 3 compatible. I had the same situation with my Mac Mini M2 to my Quantum 2626. I used my Thunderbolt cable that I use to charge my MacBook Pro without success and I felt that I should see if a different cable would work. Unfortunately, I didn't have another cable that was long enough to reach the Quantum in my studio setup.

This is what I ordered from Amazon and what fixed the issue: https://a.co/d/ezjb3UY

It doesn't have to be this specific cable... any Thunderbolt 3 cable should work.

Hope that this helps you all! Let me know if it does.

Best,
Jon
