I am trying to record with Studio One 3. I have the I/O all set up correctly and everything, and I'm getting input monitoring. I try and arm the track to record, and nothing happens? The button doesn't turn red, just stays on gray and does nothing.

Will someone please help me. I'd really like to start recording and using this software.

I'm running windows 10 as an OS

I find this happens when you have no valid interface working.  In the Startup window, make sure you have your interface selected as sometimes I find it gets changed to the PCs internal card.  S1 cannot record from the internal PC sound card. Hopefully, it is something this simple for you.

I have the same problem with Studi One3 prof. I cannot arm track for recording, does not turn red. When I arm the track for monitoring I get Input signal from a mic connected to a ********* X32 to the track armed for monitoring, but no recording. I use the usb expansion card to connect the X32 with my computer, Windows 10 64 bit.

I am having the same problem. My interface is working and I'm getting monitoring. But when I click RECORD, the monitoring shuts off and record doesn't arm.  I can then re-click the monitoring to bring it back up. volume levels, clipping, all show that the signal is getting to the software and track.  Did anyone ever get this resolved?

Try running Studio One as Administrator-this worked for me.
