recently upgraded to the presonus mixer range, always been an analogue kinda guy... plugged in was presently running firmware 1.12 i think.. anyway through the forums i worked my way through the firmware upgrades, thought i had it sorted, opened up universal control, i get a prompt to check firmware....
i allow the install and the magic blue bar starts to move across the screen. takes so much longer than all the previous upgrades so i checked my applications in task manager and it says the programme is running fine and is responding taking on average 34,444k of memory (must mean something)
anyway, left it for over 24hrs now and still hasnt moved past saying 'sector 11 Erasing'....i havent switched off the mixer as instructed clearly on the updater.
what the hell is going on?? does this take this long or is something wrong?
Please Help!! deperate to use this mixer for recording!

It's difficult to guess what the problem can be, but 24 hours is way too long. You need to shut down the mixer and try a new install. Check the FireWire connection first! If you are using adapters, replace them to a cable.

If that doesn't help, contact support.
