Hi,

I keep getting this error message: c:\Program Files\Presonus\Studio One 3\cclgui.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020. (And when I uninstall and reinstall, studio one works for a few days and then the same thing happens)

My laptop: Dell XPS 15.6 with Studio One 3 professional.

Laptop specs:

  • Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ processor
  • RAM: 16 GB / Storage: 512 GB SSD
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
  • Windows 10
Audio interface:
  • Audient iD14
  • Firmware: iD14 Firmware v1.0.5
  • Driver: iD Windows drivers - Windows 7 and later v3.2.0

Hello,

Make sure your Windows updates are completely run and updated.

If the issue remains, please create a ticket to technical support.

Here is a link to create a ticket: http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Please include the following information when you create the ticket:

Please send me your computer's System Info file.

You will need to have your audio interface attached to the computer by USB or FireWire and powered on when you do this.

To access your PC’s System Information on Windows 8 and Windows 10:
1. Go to the Desktop.
2. Press [WinLogoKey] + R to bring up 'Run'.
3. Type 'msinfo32' without quotes.
4. Press the [Enter] key.
5. IMPORTANT: Click File then "Save...", save this file as a .nfo file format and rename the file your name and attach it to this email.

Thank you for your patience.
