I was a long time Sonar user, but made the jump when it all blew up and have been delighted on the usability & stability of Studio One 3 and now Studio One 4.
I have a live performance situation where Id like to use Studio One 4 for.
There are the following tracks:-
1) Click Track
2) Bass Guitar Parts
3) Keyboard Parts
All tracks are audio and there will be no plug-ins loaded, just very basic.
I struggled at first as to how i could make it work, largely because of jumping from song to song, but i noticed that with the upgrade to Studio One 4, that Impact XT may well be utilised by tying 3 trigger pads together and loading the click audio to C1, the bass audio to C#1 and the synth audio to D1.
Would this work? Im reaching out to anyone with experience with this sort of thing that may be able to throw up some advice.
The other option was to use one long project with all the songs loaded in the set and use markers to stop playback between the songs. That way there would be no loading times.
I was planning to do this by using a fairly high specification Windows 10 laptop and a Focusrite 1820i
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Regards
