Question

Studio One Pro, 4.0 fully updated and current.

I have Keep Buses to the right uncheck. I like to create new buses and keep them next to the tracks that are being controlled.

When I add automation to one of the Buses, they jump randomly to new positions, usually to the right. Sometimes multiple buses move to the right. I've even had a track and a bus move to the right. Specifically, I was adding gain automation to the Mixtool plugin, but this seems to happen with any parameter, volume, pan, sends and inserts.

BTW: simple track automation does not seem to affect the bus position. This only happens when applying automation directly to the bus.

Is anyone else able to verify this behaviour when adding automation to buses with the keep to the right check box unchecked in settings?

Hey there,

Just tried within a new project, 6 audio tracks , 2 buss , drawed in real time in both write or touch modes some automations on the busses.
Keep buss to the right box unchecked.

Then i made them read and auto-off playback .

None of them did moved... if you keep getting maybe right to presonus support or try a unistall/reinstall of SO4, as long as you doesn't have thousands of plugins it shouldn't take long :)
