Question

I notice that none of the waves plugins are allowing side chaining in studio one 4. Waves v10 plugins like vocal rider and C6 have no sidechain button at the top like the Presonus Default ones or my Izotope plugins that have sidechain button as expected. Not sure why the waves ones do not. Any ideas?

I don't have c6 but do have c4 and it's not there. However, I just checked Vcomp and Vocal Rider (both AU and VST on OS X).

The image shows the live version but it's enabled for all vocal rider types.

I had the same problem. None of the waves plugins allow external side chain in Studio One 5. The only solution I found is to use StudioRack. It is the only one that makes it possible.

go to studio One menu/ help/open settings folder make a copy of this folder content and delete after close studio One, reopen and you can see sidechain option avialable.
