I'm aware of some speaker power problems being cause by ground loops and what not, but as far as I'm aware, those sounds are continuous. My speaker (one only) makes a short static-y/buzzy noise every 5 to 10 minutes. I'm positive this is the outlet as I had connected both speakers to the same outlet (both make buzzing noise) then different outlets (one made noise). I think I'm going to just connect both speakers to the same not-buzzy outlet, but I'm curious as to why the short bursts of buzzing is happening? Is it still a ground loop?
