I am currently using presonus audiobox usb 96 and rode nt1-a mic with cable.

The laptop is win10 and using DAW (Studio one that comes with the audiobox).

First of all, the mic playback is not audible, and if I turn the playback to the fullest, I hear very low playback with some distortion.

Through the Studio one, the input is normal, but when I play what I recorded with some instrumentals, only the instrumentals sound normal and the vocal sound is very low.

It is definitely not the headphone or the mic, because I plugged the audiobox to my ipad where I recorded my vocal via Ipad mic, and still had the same problem (instrumental sounds are normal, but vocal sound is low).

I presume there might be some setting gone wrong with outputting vocals, but I really have no clue what the problem is.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Mine too, I found 3 of us with the same issues. Garbled noise or crackling seems like it's only playing one channel of audio. Low volume I even tried it on another computer it does the same thing. Not sure what it is but I'm about to return it if they don't respond by saturday.

I'm having the same issue! The only difference is that I use an Audiobox 96 with an M7. I got it all in one kit. It can't be the microphones because we all have different microphones. it might be an issue with the interface.
