this is such BS, all brand new gear and NOTHING is happening! This is UNACCEPTABLE? HOW CAN YOU PUT THIS KIND OF BS OUT! IM REDAY TO SELL ALL THIS PRESONUS GEAR AND RECOMMEND NOBODY USE IT! QUANTUM 2626 AND A NEW Mac mini M1 CHIP!

I spent a lot of hours but at least i made it works.
First at all, led colour. In my case Blue blinking? .
It was a deffective first installation which blocked  kernel files which control the interface.
Uninstall
Reboot mac in security mode
Change to reduced security
Mark enable kernel modificstion by user and remote, both options.
Rebbot
Before install , unblock in system preferences, security
Install driver v 3.5
Before end installing process
Check again security system preferences  and allow installation presonus software
If this message does not appear then something wrong.
Reboot

the answer below is a bit less than accurate on several things.

They mean boot into recovery mode, disable SIP in terminal with csrutil disable

there is no user facing GUI control for "mark enable kernel modification by user ..."

none of this helped BTW

Yeah, I'm a bit bummed to have moved from Tascam 4 trk to this unending mess of updates. I should just be able to turn on everything and record, but instead there are error messages and missing features! Just watching my inspiration fade as I spend my creative time online searching. And I digress.

Are you sure you allowed permissions for Presonus during installation process. You have to go to Security and Privacy panel - Click on the lock in the lower left hand corner - go to where it says "Some system software requires your attention before it can be used" - click on "Details" - click on Presonus. I think one time I even had to uninstall and reinstall and make sure I allowed permissions as soon as it asked.
