My StudioLive 16 is connected to my iMac (11.5 Big Sur w/ intel processor) via USB and I'm pulling audio from the Mac into my board via USB input on 31 and 32. Everything will work fine until I try to play a YouTube video or something similar and I get "If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device". Everything else is normal on the mixer and I still hear other channels of audio fine, but my iMac channels loose signal. I've tried unplugging and replugging in the USB cable, Checking the channel in my Mac's audio midi set-up, flipped through input sources on the mixer, and even tried deactivating hardware acceleration (although I'm using safari and I don't have the option). The only thing that works is a power cycle of the mixer, not even a power cycle of the computer with everything plugged in will fix it. Is this a computer issue or a mixer issue and does anyone experience the same or know what it could be?

This is happening to some other StudioLive Series III users (running either WIndows and Mac) as well.

When I reverted to Firmware v2.4.0.17466 this USB connectivity / corruption problem disappeared.

PreSonus knows about this issue.

Thanks, I just disconnected and reconnected the USB and playback started working again. This was a difficult answer to find here.

Exactly same issue. If I disconnect and reconnect USB, nothing happen. I need to do mixer recycle. Seem to don't happen with Chrome.

This is still happening to me on my StudioLive Series III 32s using firmware v2.7.2.97735 (latest as off today), connecting to a MacBooks Pro M1 laptop. This issue happens a few times a day. Is this supposed to have been resolved? The previous posts are from almost 3 years ago.
