Have The Editor Highlight The Notes That The Cursor Is Over In Piano Roll Even If Playback Has Stopped

When improving on piano I sometimes want to view a particular chord that I hear when I playback a recorded MIDI track from an instrument. I don't always know what I played and when I have the editor up I can see the keyboard roll playing the MIDI, highlighting notes in blue but as soon as I press stop the highlight goes away.

I would like the option for the editor to highlight the notes on the editor piano roll/keyboard in blue wherever the cursor is in the editor timeline just as in does in playback, even if playback has stopped (for several reasons). It would be useful to be able to just click the editor timeline and the highlights appear.

Can you please add this feature?

I have a very similar request and could be part of this idea. Some times, as an example, I am working on a song and I realize I want to change the key or I have not enforced the key for other reasons and now I realize I want to move all the notes on one note to a different note across all the events. So my suggestion is to be able to click the piano note on the left, in the edit window for the instrument and it would select all the midi notes on that note so they could be edited (length velocity, etc), moved or deleted all at once.  This could involve a modifier key if necessary to differentiate from clicking the note and selecting the midi across all event on that note.
