I installed all the drivers properly and the Universal Control application and the device keeps disconnecting and reconnecting rapidly for as long as it is plugged in. I purchased a new USB Type A to USB Type B cable and the issue persists. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers multiple times and have not found a solution.

I'm experiencing disconnections any time the USB cable is moved even slightly.

There's another thread that was opened by someone who has the same issue: https://answers.presonus.com/51116/usb-connection-on-audiobox-usb-extremely-fickle-sensitive?show=51116

Do you experience the same, or is it unrelate to the USB cable/connector?

I have the same problem. I uninstalled and re-installed UC countless times. It just works whenever it wants to.

I was having this same issue and it took me hours to figure out.
I'm a little late on this thread, but for anyone else who comes across looking for answers.

For starters, even though the guide tells you not to use USB 3.0, for me it was wrong.

1. Uninstall the drivers/Universal Control and reinstalled them while connected to a USB 3.0 port
2. Restart your computer
3. Follow the instructions in this video.
(Be warned, they are in serious need of a pop filter.)
If for some reason that link no longer works, google search "power management on USB devices windows 10"

And yes I use Google as a noun not a verb, but only because it makes me feel superior to everyone else.

I had the same issues as well just as I purchased the product. My issue was that it was in a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 Port. If you cant tell the difference usually USB 3.0 has a blue port in the middle.

Well I was having the same issue for a while and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. It finally started working after unplugging it from the USB 2.0 port into the USB 3.0 port. Works great now :)

I have tried every tip in the forum, and still, every time I restart my computer, it loses the Audiobox. I was working in it fine all day, restarted my computer after installing a new plug in, and now the audio is gone and audiobox is not recognized. Every single time I restart my computer this happens. Does anyone have a solve that fixes this for good?

I found a solution for this problem. I just bought this interface and i had the same issue. When i was looking for a solution i found out that many people who experienced this problem have very similar motherboard, in my case MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max (AMD). So i bought a USB Hub with external power supply just in case there was not enough power, connected it to my USB 3.0 port and it worked. But i found out later that the external power supply isn't nessesery and i can connect the Audiobox to the USB Hub even without it and it still works. So it's more like a power management problem that can be probably fixed in BIOS(UEFI), but the Hub is a cheap solution and you don't have to worry about messing things up in the BIOS.
